Photography from hides
AVESHIDE manages photography observation posts in the vicinity of Crémenes and Valdeburón (Montaña de Riaño y Mampodre Regional Park, province of León), Almanza (ZEC Rebollares del Cea, province of León), and on the El Taray Lagoon estate, a private wetland that forms part of the Lagunas y Albardinales del Gigüela Nature Reserve and the La Mancha Húmeda Biosphere Reserve.
Hides: experience nature with passion and respect
At each of these destinations, visitors will find a network of hides that are operational all year round, allowing for close-up observation and photography of a wide variety of species, including some of the most significant in our wildlife, such as the Spanish Imperial Eagle, Bonelli’s eagle, the Egyptian Vulture and the Griffon Vulture, the Black Woodpecker and the Middle Spotted Woodpecker, waterbirds such as the White-Headed Duck and the Black-necked Grebe, marsh birds such as the Bearded Reedling, or such colourful and beautiful species as the European Roller and the Eurpean Bee-eater, to name just a few of the most notable. Visits to these sites are supported by the main hotels and hospitality businesses in the area, making it very easy to plan a stay of one or more days at any of them.
