Recommendations
It is recommended that you bring a telephoto lens of between 400 and 600 mm, or an equivalent zoom lens (100–500 mm, 150–600 mm or 200–600 mm), which is ideal for photographing both large birds of prey and smaller birds from hides and observation points.
It is also advisable to have a second camera body with a shorter lens for environmental photography, as well as spare batteries, sufficient memory cards and a tripod or monopod for longer sessions.
The photo shoots will involve a combination of hides and short walks through various natural habitats, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for the weather conditions at that time of year. It is advisable to dress in layers, wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a light jacket for the early hours of the day.
To ensure you observe wildlife respectfully, we recommend wearing clothes in muted colours and avoiding fabrics that rustle. Don’t forget a cap, sunglasses and sun cream for outdoor sessions.
You need to know
The schedule of sessions may be adjusted depending on weather conditions and bird activity, to make the most of the best times for observation and photography. We always work with small groups, ensuring personalised attention and a nature photography experience that respects wildlife.
Observations are carried out in accordance with responsible ecotourism principles, minimising any impact on the species and their habitats and always prioritising the animals’ welfare.
