Located in one of the most faithful territories of red-backed shrike. This species is one of the last to return to the mountain for breeding (usually in the first week of May). The hide is associated with a rose bush or an alder thorn that provide natural innards. This hide usually starts operating in mid-May, once the shrikes have taken possession of their territories after their return from wintering in Africa. In May and June you can photograph the red-backed shrike resting on the branches of wild rose in bloom. At the end of June and for a few days, there may be interesting situations of photography with flying chickens being fed by adults in front of the hide.
